THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE FILM
Come on, so you're curious too now..right? - well, this lit my curiosity. First of all, every click was attached to a hand, which was attached to a person attached to a news outlet. How many of them are there? What is it that makes them all seem to know when to click and when to not? Each click and non-click is a decision, saying, "This is important" and "This, is not." Why? Are their unspoken rules, about clicking while the president is talking?
The next thought I had was about the hierarchy, the personal politics of physical position and than the ultimate question - It's a press conference, it's staged, how can they really find a good photo revealing some truth in such staged events? Why on earth are they shooting so many pictures of the same man at the same podium? It's not like a falcon was going to land on his shoulder at any second. The best these people could hope for is really a thoughtful lip bite or the holy grail... a tear wipe. But still, why shoot so much?
